DSMART (Darlington Smart) is a Nigerian-Canadian gospel artist, singer, songwriter, actor, music producer, and visionary whose journey through music is a story of grace, resilience, and purpose.
With a career that began at a very young age in Nigeria, DSMART quickly rose to prominence with his unique sound, earning multiple awards including the Niger Delta Advancement Awards (3 categories), Odudu Awards, (won alongside Burna Boy), and the Mega Awards. His breakout hit in 2006, “Pikin I Want to Drink Small Stout”, brought him into the limelight and cemented his reputation as a gifted artist with the ability to connect deeply with audiences.
Over the years, DSMART has been honored to share stages and minister alongside some of the world’s most celebrated gospel music ministers, including Donnie McClurkin, Fred Hammond, Travis Greene, Micah Stampley, Jessica Reedy, Jonathan Nelson, Kirk Franklin, and many more. These experiences have shaped his global perspective and strengthened his commitment to excellence in ministry through music.
Now based in Canada, DSMART has embraced a higher calling, shifting his focus fully to gospel music. His songs are more than melodies, they are messages of grace, faith, and worship designed to glorify Jesus and bless lives globally. With a vision to use music as a tool for transformation, DSMART combines Afrobeat roots with contemporary gospel sounds to create powerful worship experiences.
